Anyone interested in crossdrilled/slotted rotors, set up a group buy!

They offer drilled and slotted rotors at a low price with the option of different style rotors. All rotors do come zinc platted or black powder coated. You can also ask for a special order for drilled only or slotted only. Our rotors are drilled and slotted in house with a CNC machine. The programs for the rotors are made by real CNC programmers. We use smaller drill holes to keep as much material as possible while still provide ventilation for better cooling. The drilled holes are offset to reduce groves from forming in the pads and do not hit any veins. All the drill holes are finished off with a chamfer to reduce stress cracks. Our Slots do slant toward the front of the car, we have found that this causes less vibration because the whole slot is not hitting the pad at once. Our rotors are OEM size and bolt right on. This is a picture of my own rotors right after instll. I got the black powdercoated ones.

+1 Yeah....plus...what's required to make the change on rotors?

I'm an accountant, not a front end guy!

They, our, we. Who?
Tell us a little about yourselves
As for the powdercoating, is it the rotors or the calipers? Dont know if I want powdercoated roters but calipers would look cool.

They & our are Brake Designs and they use Centric rotors or Aimco.

As for me, I have been here just under a year. Though I dont post much, I pm alot about cruises and spent some time pm'in w/2l8iwon , 05stangkc, oklacop, & tucker when I was doing my front conversion. I got the black powdercoat ROTORS on my car.

As for the accountant, I am a plastics manufacturer and have never touched brakes before, but it was fairly easy. Just pop the wheels off and 2 bolts behind the caliper and the caliper comes off and then you just pull the rotors off. Brake designs will ship them to you. I will find the instructions for you and post.

Hey Joe, I recognized you, but didn't know what rotors you were talking about. Do you have the Aimco rotors on your car? Seems like the Centrics only have one line of holes between the slots, at least that's how the Rotorpros are, and the same ones shown on Break Designs site. Thanks for the info.

By the way, the Centric rotors are the same ones RotoPros distributes. The first pic is from Break Design, the second is from Rotorpros. So this seems to be a good sale while it lasts.

Mine are the Centrics. Both companies get them blank from centric and BDI uses a CNC to put the 2lines of holes and vents in them. I have the powdercoated versions and I love them. At around 200 bucks, its the best deal anywhere.
