Got the good news from ERL on Sunday and the call from Mullinax Ford on Monday morning!

I can't wait to pick it up and drive it directly over to Legacy Ford and ask the lying sales manager to come out and look it. He told me when I cancelled my order with them that I'd never get an 2005! When I originally ordered they said I'd get the car in June, how right they were just not from them!!!!!! When I pushed them for more info. and wanted my DORA they confessed that they had 11 ahead of me and that I was probably looking at a 2006. Then I overheard a couple of salesman laughing about how they were only getting 1 allocation a month for retail and that all these people would be lucky if there cars got delivered by spring of 2006! Anyway this dealership is full of liars, last week they ran an ad stating they had 25 Mustangsin stock including GT's! I saw 6 V-6's and 2 of them were V-6 "GT's"! Any way if you live around Cleveland........

I also have a build week of the 23rd!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my GT from Gulf Coast Ford south of Houston, Texas. Ordered it on April 8th, and got serialized on the 20th. I can't wait! Maybe ours will go down the assembly line together...we'll have to check our consecutive unit numbers.

 

Yeah, I as soon as I get a VIN. Birthday's in mid-June this will make a nice present!

 

i had a may 16th build week but i got pushed back to may 23rd =(

 

pwt13,we have bought several cars from Mullinax, including my 2001 GT, and we bought my wifes 2004 Escape 4x4 from Jeff Wells as well.

Yeah, so far Jeff has been great. This is my first dealing with him and he's been very on the ball! Our old saleswomen went off to sell mortgages! Oh well.....

 

Just got more good news from ERL, I've been "bumped" up! We are now confirmed for a build May 16th up a week from May 23rd.

 

I also have a build week of May 23. I was finally pulled on April 28th.

 

My Parents live in Sheffield Village Ohio and I live in Akron Ohio. I bought my Mustang from Mike Bass Ford, Larry Mathews is my sales guy nothing but 1st class service as far as the sales goes. I had never had problems or even heard of problems with Mullinax. Congrats on proving that the customer is always right.

I like Mullinax, but I live in Wadsworth, and its a long drive. We have Wadsworth Ford right around the corner, about 5 minutes away from my house. I'll hit them first, and compare the price with Mullinax when I am ready to buy.
My family and I have never had a problem with Mullinax either. Jeff continues to follow up with emails even after a year of buying the car.

I don't like to bad mouth people, but we would never buy a car from that Brunswick dealer.
