anyone got one of these???

http://www.americanmuscle.com/flipdo...FUWA5QodgwrSLQ

was thinking of getting it but alas...i have the cdc classic chin spoiler up front. i could prob make a custom bracket that would reach the front bumper but im still wondering if anyone else out there has it. and if so...how do u like it? maybe someone has it with a cdc chin spoiler too! ya never know on TMS hahahaha. already have the holes drilled in the bumper for my front plate but i figure i could get some plastic plugs to cover em up (seen some guys do it before and to me it looks better than the plate at shows). or i could get a custom plate with the mustang symbol on it to sort of cover the god awful plate holes.

We must have front plates in the People's Republic of Illinois and a few other states.

I have the manual version.

I ripped it off this weekend by driving on to my lift. I had it mounted under the front of the CS front fascia plus I have at least a 1.5" drop on my springs and extra weight over the front with the SC.

seriously? I know atleast NY and NJ both require front license plates. always have, always will...unfortunately.

yea i thought about it more after i posted this and realized, i think the plate would look stupid in front of the chin spoiler rather than on the bumper in its original position. o well, it was a nice idea at first hahaha

Write your secretary of state, charge normal price for plates and only make one, extra money for the state!

For some strange reason the police seem to think it makes their work easier and safer. Oh well. You can't fight city hall.

Cali. requires the front plate also, that way they can send you a ticket when the traffic camera catches you running a red light.

Texas does, but around here you won't get pulled over for it alone. Hell, i've been driving with an expired registration sticker since the end of May and I haven't gotten pulled over.

I do have the sticker, but i'm just so lazy as of late. I know, I know...

I've never had trouble with local sheriffs department or police, but the state troopers have given me a warning or two. They spot it almost immediately.

When I updated my GT and converted to the GT500 front end, I wasnt about to drill the bumper so I left it alone figuring I'd just wait on it till I got pulled over and ticketed for it.

I finally got pulled over in my '06 GT a few months ago and instead of getting a speeding ticket, he wrote me up for lack of the front license plate. Since I finally had to deal with doing something about it, I started really looking at the options. Since my GT is lowered, as much as I liked the electric and manual ones that you could install that hid it below and underneath the car, I was too concerned about it getting ripped off somehow if I bottomed out. I finally found what I consider to be the best option to avoid having to drill as well as avoiding anything that could rub on the paint.

Here is a link: http://www.trailerrebuilders.com/services

Highly recommend.

I got pulled over literally the day after I picked up my car from the dealer in VA for no front plate. The only reason I got out of the ticket was that a truck pulled up behind the cop asking for help
