At least by that time the aftermarket will have their stuff out and others will have tried it out on their stang. That way you can see/hear what you want.

Heck you can probably have your aftermarket parts ordered and waiting for your new pony to come home.

 

I'm guessing we'll get official pricing within a few days...and then its down to the bank to get a loan...and then another 3-5 weeks of waiting for my girl to get here

Kluski, that is definately one of the benefits of waiting.

My main reason is to miss the winter especially up here. Added benefits are aftermarket availability and the fact I can see how people's stangs look with various mods before I buy (ie. rims).

Plus, I'll know if any other models are being planned for the next year (SEMA, NAIAS both before I place the order).

Down here in the land of never snow, we don't have such a luxury- same ole boring car 12 months a year.

Same here. But I will be hanging out at the local dealer EVERY NIGHT until next summer when I can HOPEFULLY get my black GT w/ red interior. Or is that a blue GT with Dark Charcoal interior? Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

 

I'm with April. I'm not really excited because I won't be getting anything to drive (except maybe a lawn mower) for the next three years.

 

Cobra, SE, or GT Just how long will I be able to wait . I can buy a Gt now and mod the crap out of it, wait for SE or save for a Cobra, decisions decisions.

 

Yeeesssss! Only 8 more days till... um... another 6-8 weeks!

 

Totally excited but subdued because I can't get one right away, wife's Maxima won't be paid off until next June and we have a one car payment limit.

Until then I'll be air-powershifting and dreaming about those sweet exhaust notes in the future...maybe in a vert by then... :drive: :headbang:

I shake with excitement! Only like a month left! Then my wonderful blue Mustang will be in my garage!

 

YAHOO! My dealer called me today to say he had a build date for my Windveil Blue GT, "scheduled to be built week of 9-27-04" Even though I am in Michigan (up north) he thinks we'll see the car maybe around Halloween. It's not quick enough, but I am still very happy!

 

Ford should give you one Amy!!!!! You alone have helped convince a lot of people around here with all the info and pics.
