Anyone care that their new Mustang is

out in the rain. Yea, it's raining outside here in Metro Detroit. I just thought about the fact that our car is out in this rain, not in the garage clean and dry.
Any onelse care. I planned on keeping it clean and dry at lease for the winter for sure.

Living in Houston my car will see lots of rain. However the key point is I will be in it at the time. My car was built 9/08 and still has no shipping status. Out of respect for my brethren here on this site I will remain somewhat patient and not do what I really would like to do to those prolonging the day I get to take my 05 home. Respectfully yours, Gene.

no i dont care if it gets rained on and will always doubt people that mention in their ads to sell a car "never seen rain." that is probably about as common as "owned by a little old lady and only driven on sundays to church."
it is almost a ridiculous as "never raced" but the car has a ton of performance mods and "needs new tires"

Blah.. so what :P It's a "little" rain around here... not like we haven't hard larger storms than this. Seriously.. lasted like a half hour or so haha.. atleast down here.
The ones I love are the people with adds saying "Has never seen snow." Ummmmmmm, excuse me... it's made here in Michigan.. of course it's seen snow.

Good grief - it's a car not a Picasso!
Yeah, my car will be covered, but it's not as if I'm gonna check with God every time I pull it out onto the street to see if He has any plans for those clouds while I'm driving.
Oh, yeah - and how do I wash my car without getting it wet?
Tell me when it's submerged.

My car will be parked outside.
I'm going to wax it often, and use a car cover when I can.
By the way, for my 40th birthday, my dad (turning 69 this year) bought me an '05 car cover direct from Ford. They can't ship it yet, they don't have them (LOL). I'll find out what part number he ordered...

That was my point. They get rained on. They get dirty. They get baked in the So Cal sun. Detroit, San Diego, doesn't matter. That's what they're for. (Okay, I understand you folks who don't want salt eating out the floor boards in the winter, but that's another matter.)
And for the sub jocks - God bless you. I couldn't spend more than an hour in one of those things! But as for the "what's wrong with being submerged?" comment - Tom Cruise left a really nice Porche at the bottom of the lake for you, if I remember Risky Business correctly!
