Ok, I'm scheduled to be built the week of the 22nd - is there even a prayer I could lay hands on the car before labor day weekend?

Ok, now that you've stopped laughing, any guesses on when I will see my pony?

 

mine is scheduled for the 29th...they are tellin me ill have it by the 15th of sept. im just praying that everything goes as scheduled

 

I also have a build date of the 29th. I want it now

My dealer told me Ford "always seems to be late on their estimated delivery of the mustang" and even though I'm scheduled for a 8/22 build week, it could be until mid to late September until I get it down here...

 

Mines scheduled for 22nd also but doubt I'll get it until mid Sept. Darm was hoping to take to beach with top down for the Labor Day weekend

I would expect 3-4 weeks from the build date. My car WAS scheduled to be built the week of the 22nd. My dealer told me to expect it September 15-25. But now my build date got moved up to the week of the 15th. Im hoping for early september. :spin:

 

I'm scheduled for 22nd.I've been looking at a lot of members orders for 05 and from the build date the average is anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks..hope more like 2 for me

 

Week of 08/22 here also. The most I can get out of my dealer is that I should have it sometime in September. Hopefully that means early Sept., but I am thinking more like mid Sept.

Mine is headed to Atlanta.

 

I'm also scheduleded for the week of 8/22. It will be delivered to Lafayette, Indiana. Since I'm only about a 5-6 hour drive from the factory, I'm hoping it won't take more than 2 weeks for delivery.

 

Wow! Alot of 8/22 build week.

Me too. I guess it will be approx 2 weeks to get!?

Guys, other than a few highly publicized snafu's (typically people who get their cars on time don't post to thank Ford for an on time delivery) they have been pretty typical with 2-3 weeks. I got mine 13 days after it was built, so 12 days from build to delivery at the dealership, and I live almost as far away from Flat Rock as you can get.

Build date of the 22nd "should" get your car to the dealership around September 2nd - 9th. Take into account the Labor Day holiday, and I would set my expectations around the 9th.

Hope you get it sooner though!

They told me delivery would be mid-late Sept.

 

I was locked in as of today as well! Probable build date 8/25!

I just got my VIN and scheduled for 8/29 week also. Can't wait!

 

I called Ford Customer Relations today. They have an anticipated delivery date of (week of) 9/12 for me.

I'm liking that.
