I live in Jacksonville. For those who know, I live down the street from the Avenues Mall. Right off Hood Rd. So, I obviously also live right down the street from Mike Shad Ford at the Avenues. I try to pass by there at least 4 times a week, but the only shipments they've been receiving are new 500's and Freestyles. I'll report anything I see as soon as some come in. I'll even take my night vision camera down and snap some pics.

Melbourne here. The Ford websites show
4 at Paradise (Cocoa),
1 at Velde (Vero), and
none at Palm Bay or Kelly Ford (Melbourne).

I called Paradise since they showed 4 in inventory and they said no, they dont have them yet. I asked when do they expect it, and she said November.

I called Palm Bay too, and he wouldnt answer any questions, obviously he didnt know anything, he just wanted my name and number and would call me when they do come in.

Just picked up my vert from Freedom Ford in Clearwater due to my window not rolling up and they have no '05 as of yet. They do have all they're remaining '04s piled up in the back of their lot though.

Good news and bad news!

I just got back from Ford of Coral Gables and they have a fully loaded Satin Silver GT with the red leather interior. It is one darn nice looking car (you know), and everyone who said pictures dont do it justice was right. UNFORTUNTATELY the car is of course already sold. The lucky...fellow (i want to use another word), who ordered it isn't picking it up until Monday! I got alot of pics though and I'll be posting them on a sepereate thread.

The BAD news is regarding MY car... Although mine was the first that they ordered they said it's still at the rail station waiting to be trucked over Then he said "we get 2 shipments a week" (they got this one today) "so it could be here in 3 days" (i cringed at that!) "or 2 weeks" (and then i died). So looks like it's going to be a little bit until I get mine, and I think seeing that one today just made the wait even worse. My dealer said the truckers usually pick the cars to load at random but the manager is friends with them and will try to get them to bring mine in as soon as possible.

I was in Daytona last night and stopped by Gary Yeomans Ford, they were having a huge celebration! They unveiled the New "GT40" or "GT" and also a 05 Mustang GT. This was awesome, what great timing to stop in but I didn't have a camera with me. Apparently this is the largest Mustang dealer in the state and they are getting a huge shipment of new Mustangs before the end of the month, some deal they had with Ford because they took like 500 extra 2004 models earlier this year. Anyway, man the mustang is awesome but their 150k supercar GT is to die for! :worship:

Atleast my dealer (Bartow Ford) said they were maybe the second largest in the state, behind a dealer in Miami. What criteria is used to determine the size of the dealer? Is it sales, quantity of vehicles sold, dollar amount of purchases? Is it also seperated by trucks, cars, suv's, etc.? Bartow stated that they will be getting 3 GT's over the course of some specific time (I can't recall-maybe 3 yrs.). They also have 12 new ponys coming in. Bottom line is they still don't have my freakin car!

Update:

I saw a legend lime V6, no spoiler, out front of Mike Shad Ford at the Avenues coming home a few minutes ago! They have a rent-a-cop stationed in the parking lot overnight, but I managed to drive up really close and see it.

It was the first time I've seen a new Mustang (other than the concept), and I must say I was in awe. It was almost surreal.

I'm going back tomorrow after church with a camera and a big smile on my face.

Has anybody seen any in Florida? The local dealer says they should be here by the middle of the month!
Tallahassee had one come in thursday night, red on red GT. she was gone by 11:30 yesterday (saturday). I figured for sure it would not sell until after the game so I did not buy it on the spot to help insure domestic tranquility to quote the founding fathers. Sat. was as soon as the wife could get out there. It is now going to be a minimum of 2 weeks before we see another GT.

I'm worried mine could be here today, could be here this week, but at latest by the end of the month. What I'm worried about is it coming in and having my dealer say someting like "great, that'll be $32,000", it's fully loaded I think MSRP comes out to around $29600 or so
