Any apperence ideas? Red 08 V6

Hay guys I just bought my first mustang, a 2008 all red V6 and was wondering what I should put on her appearance wise. I took off the old graphics because they were ugly. Any ideas?!

I'd go with some side stripes also, they are cheap and add a nice touch.

Is your car currently spoiler less? If so I would leave it that way

Wheels, grill, front bumper.

Also you say you took off the old graphics. Any noticeable paint fade?

I am about to order my raxiom gen5 taillights. right now i have some sweet smoked covers on my stock taillights. I am trying to find a new home for the covers. i am looking for a new home for these covers. I have only had them on my car since mid January this year. these covers look awesome and the only reason i am getting rid of them is due to a little mix up with the raxion LED sequential(05-09) kit on americanmuscle but they have been really cool about it and are helping me out towards the new Gen5 kit. my stang is torch red and these blacked out covers look really clean. you can hardly tell they are covers. all you would have to do is buy some new adhesive tape, which you can pick up at any hardware store. please let me know, i want these covers to find a nice new home!

Hey,

Welcome to TheMustangSource! Also, congratulations on your new ride!

A lot of people have posted some great options for your exterior. Other than what has already been said, a set of window louvers or side scoops would provide a nice touch. I had both on my 06, I loved the way the looked and got compliments on them all the time. As always, updating the wheels headlights, or taillights also really give the car a new look as well.

Either way, it sounds like you have plenty of awesome ideas, keep us posted and be sure to upload a picture of whatever you go with.

I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, feel free to get in touch with myself, or our customer service team listed below my signature. Good luck!

Yea I plan on keeping it without the spoiler, if anything it would be a duck tail spoiler

No, I used my friends rubber wheel drill attachment and it worked flawlessly, no harm done.

Hat sean, how much are you selling then for, I was thinking about adding smoked covers anyways.

Your car looks really clean, check out the " Torch Red " sub-forum. Lots of really nice Torch Red V6's and GT's on there.

I like the clean, simple look on S197 cars. No stripes, no fake scoops, no spoilers. Slight lowering is OK, as are some good wheels, but I'd be picky on the wheels. Cheap wheels usually look like cheap wheels. Short antenna is an improvement in appearance, but decreases reception range. I do like the look of the Raxiom Gen5 taillights but I'm afraid that every other S197 around, will soon have them. Brighter lights, yes. I've never been into "smoked" lights, as that's defeating the whole reason for having a light to start with... Maybe some Silverstar bulbs, or an HID conversion? I like to see where I'm going, but then, I'm getting old.
Why not just keep the exterior looking pretty and stock, and spend a few $ on upgrading suspension, rear axle, brakes, better exhaust, etc.?

Oh; one aftermarket bit that I do like, is either the all carbon fiber, or Agent 47 mirror. Either looks nicer than the truck mirrors that came on our cars.
