Ah...duh. Interior motion sensor with the active alarm system, dude.

And, yeah, what are you doing with your dog in your brand new car? Better yet, what are you doing eating at Ronny Macs?

Oh hang on, my mistake. You said Mcdonnels NOT MacDonalds. Sorry.

How surprised was your dog?

"Hmm....master's left me in the car again....oh well......I'll just settle here and take a na...WHOA HEY!...WHAT'S THAT NOISE?!"

Hope you left a window down. :nono:

Yeh, you have to leave the windows down enough for the dog to chew the fingers off all those "oglers" who can't "look, but don't touch".

If you lock the car with the key and not the key fob, the alarm will arm without the motion sensor.

Is this in the manual?

I'd like some verification...I, too, will have the same probem (hopefully) in the future.

yeah... the only way my wife's dog is getting into my Mustang (when I get it) is if she's hog tied and put into a plastic bag with a snorkel.

Seriously, my friend's dog sheds so much hair that my brand new care would look like a dog kennel by the end of the day. No dogs in my car!

Actually, the vile place (which used to sign my paychecks...for 2 years...ugghh) is spelled McDonalds.

I can't put my dog in the trunk because that's where I keep my monkey.

I have 7 dogs (wife is a Vet)... that's why I have my old beat-up '86 F150. Go out and spend a $1000-$1500 on an old, but running, pick-up in case you have to take the dog to the Vet or need to go to Home Depot to get some wood, etc. It's well worth the grand to protect your investment in your new Mustang.

Thanks with the spelling help. My dog is a Rat Terrier and loves to ride in the GT. I found a rubber backed bath mat that is the same color as the seats and that is what she rides on. She use to ride in the front but that set off the seat belt alarm so she now rides in the back seat.. I also took out the red floor mats in front and replaced them with the same cut to size. Works, looks great and are washable.

Just a thought, but, if you have your dog in the car, doesn't that kind of make having the active anti-theft redundant? I mean, the dog should be a pretty good active anti-theft device all on his own, shouldnt he? LOL.
