The materials and features aspects of the interior were not overlooked, either. The door panels and release handles are now more substantial in look and feel, and one-touch up-and-down power windows add a bit of unexpected convenience. The climate control setup is the tried-and-true three-**** design, which is fine with us — if it ain't broke, ya don't need to fix it.

There ya go, a review that relates to the understanding of a window sticker price.

Well, I'm sure everybody has learned by now that I don't exactly think very highly of Edmunds...

HAVING SAID THAT... this review was much more positive than I could ever hope it would be!

If we see more of this in the Automotive press, then maybe the thought of Ford Motor Company getting back into the black may not be such a far-off concept after all...

It's going to take more than the Mustang to carry Ford into the black. Ford is still a truck company, but they've got enough new cars coming so that may change a little.

A couple of years ago Edmonds put a Mustang Cobra up against an M3. At the end of the article they picked the Mustang because of the performance it delivered at the price. I've always found them to be pretty fair and objective.

You know, only unbiased articles are like this one. A clear, thorough review of the car.

Also remember that they have what, just one or two people who review the car. If some guy only likes the Gung-Ho imports, then he just is going to notice many more things he doesn't like in the Mustang even though any AVERAGE person would never notice.

It's like they get comped by Toyota and not Ford, so guess who gets the criticism...

Edmunds only has one or two testers? I would find that unlikely considering the wide coverage of vehicles that they provide data for. However that being said, a good review from Edmunds is a good thing because they do test a wide variety of vehicles. Although I do tend to think they don't necessarily point out anything bad with any vehicle I've looked at on there yet.

I've also never found any truly negative reviews on edmunds.com. Even the negative things they say about some cars are spun in a positive light.
