It was probably a preproduction mule, which will be turned into scrap anyways.

That hurts looking at it.
Safety looks high though.

....why gravel speed traps are a better idea than concrete walls.

A shame to see.

Doesn't anyone notice that the structural regidity of the cars still looks mighty fine, considering this was not really your average parkinglot fender bender?

Dude, my dads got an awesome set of tools.... I can fix it.... ;-)

Seriously, that looks worse than it is (I think). Popped the right front tire, and it was a pretty good impacts; but it didn't tweak the frame enough to do the windshield, but there may be some back end damage. From the first pic, it looks like the guy lost it, went right into the wall, then 360'd. If he didn't smack the back, it isn't a huge deal. But I bet the driver is going to need a clean set of underpants, and some salve for that bruised/humiliated ego.

I was gonna say the same thing. Everything behind the front panels seems ok. Wonder what speed the impact was?

You know Ford had to anticipate one or two of the cars getting damaged. You can bet that driver won't be allowed at another Innovation Drive. I went to the GM Autoshow in Motion, and if you even broke the tires on the Corvette, they would escort you out of the show.

You really don't have to get that close to the car to see the damage. Maybe the driver was legally blind? A little Zaino, and it will be just like new.

Nice, no distortion of the passenger area

They are pre-pros that get crushed anyway, so who cares?

Did you notice that the bottom grille just "popped out"?
It's sitting straight up on the bank!
Maybe it means you can easily remove it for a billet grille!
