Hi.
Just for info
Every winter my Mustang go for storage. I put on the Battery Tender one day every week. After one day says the Tender the battery is fine.
This week it took 3 days before it was ready. I wondered why this different. ?
Could see the car was left in "N" instead of "P"
After that, I meassured out the amp draw in both positions.
In "N" = 0.3 Amp.
In "P" = 0.11 Amp.
But again , just for info

When your car is in storage and not being used, you should keep a tender charger running on it everyday, otherwise the keep alive memory will continue to draw current which will eventually drain the battery..
As running a battery tender just once a week is not enough to keep your battery fully charged during storage.. I keep my battery minder plus connected 24/7 and when the battery is fully charged, my tender charger shuts itself off automatically and turns back on when needed..
