AmericanMuscle Wheels, anyone buy from them?
I was wondering if anyone had any dealings from AmericanMuscle.com? I'm thinking of buying the Saleen style wheels for our '05 and supposedly they have the correct offset for our newer cars.
We were thinking of buying a similar style wheel from O.E. Wheel Distributors from E-bay. But after doing a little research, apparently they don't have a very good customer relations and the wheels don't fit the S197 very well either, at least on the Saleen style.
So if anyone has some input, please post up. I'm open to all opinons.
Thanks,
Bobby

I bought my wheels from them 2 years ago and don't have any issues with them at all. They were called something else back then but I think it's still the same company.

I bought my GT500 replica 18x9.5s there about a year ago, they look great and the price is certainly right! If you have a specific set of wheels in mind, you might want to wait until they go "on sale" there. I ended up getting my wheels for $120 each!
Also, the memo in the box says not to use them for racing or track purposes, but I've run them at 5 NASA HPDEs and about 20 dragstrip passes w/ no issues.

They were called mustangtuning... I guess they changed their name before FoMoCo would sue them for using "Mustang" in their company name... Bought some wheels from them in July and couldn't be happier with them, best price I could find and fast delivery. Just make sure you look at the "2005+"-section to find the wheels with the correct offset.

Let's not forget that they also have free shipping--which is nice when you're ordering 80+ lbs of wheels!

Discount Tire!!!!!!
I bought my 20" bullitts from discount tire and they beat american muscles price and even threw in a set of lugs and locks. Then one of wheels came in damage so they just sent me another one. Just tell them what you'll give for a set there not set to the prices on the website!!!

I bought my wheels from them as well, no issues at all. Fast shipping, etc. I didn't have to go back to them for any returns or anything, so I can't speak from that perspective, but I gave them money and they gave me wheels. Not a bad deal there.

I bought 18x9 and 18x10's chrome DD bullitts a year and a half ago and have been very pleased. I also received compliments on the wheels from two different tire installers.
I would highly recommend them. The price was excellent, service was excellent, product was excellent.

I bought chromed deep dish wheels from them (18x9 & 18x10), and had some roundness problems with one of the 18x9s. No problem in getting a replacement rim, which was great and solved the shimmy I had in the steering wheel! Great customer service from them!

I bought a CDC classic chin spoiler (shipped to Canada) and the service was excellent. All fees including the brutal brokerage fees that UPS charges were covered and layed out very well BEFORE I spend the money.
+1 for them for sure. I will be buying again soon.

I bought a set of wheels. One was damaged, along with the box (see pics). The curious thing is that this damage somehow occurred even with a plastic "hoop" on. I called them immediately and they shipped another. One week wait. Got it and it had the exact same damage. I called again and they told me they had no more in stock. I asked if, once they got one in stock, to ship it two-day air and that I would pay the difference. They said that their ground shipping cost is rolled into the price of the wheel so they could not ship it any other way. Two week wait plus one more week for shipping. Finally, I received it and returned two damaged wheels. They did everything possible except the shipping so it was one month from the time I ordered to the time I was able to install them.
