That was great.

It really got me right here. (clutches chest)

Especially when the garage door opened.

I agree it was very moving. It was kind of predictable though. When JJ came back from Vietnam I looked at my wife and said "Ford is sponsoring this, right? I bet he gets a brand new 66 Mustang from his dad."

Loved the 69. Absolutely beautiful. But when they opened the garage, I screamed with joy-casim.

If you missed it it's @ www.nbc.com/ford

(don't quote me on the addy)
This thread is actually a re-post. Here's what I said in the original thread:

I didn't think much of the acting, but, as I have friends and extended family overseas in Iraq, just about anything that displays a positive attitude towards our service men and women makes me feel pretty darn good in general.

Am I the only one who caught the word "Cobra" under the hood of the father's vintage 'stang? thumb.gif

Given its appearance, color, and "Cobra", I'd have to say 1968 Cobra Jet...

Can anybody tell me whether or not I'm correct in my assessment of the father's car?

Actually the other thread was the repost, this thread started 6 minutes prior, so they were both probably starting the thread at the same time.

I made sure I looked good and hard before I posted it, don't worry...It wasn't a repost. Just two topics posted at around the same time.

Nope. I noticed the Cobra also. I pointed it out in excitment to my boyfriend. If you look at the front plate. I'm almost 100 percent sure it says 1969.

I've been trying all day to see the video but it wouldn't come up at work. I just saw the video and it was great. Ford did good.
