What are they asking for it? There may lie your answer.

There are tons of GT's all over Canada available. About 25 in the greater Toronto area alone. And most can be had at under MSRP .

Problem is, most GT's the dealers ordered were automatics, and most didn't come with red leather, maybe a couple did.. And all GT's that i saw and I saw many, come with the upgrade wheels which most people here don't care for.

People want bullits with their GT's, and want manual transmission, at least that's what all the salesmen tell me.

You would think that they would of known to order manuals from past years Mustang sells.

stang101,
In reference to a white GT at Manley Motors in Belvidere, IL. the sticker is $27520, and has the automatic transmision, along with the upgraded wheels. These are the only two options on this vehicle. The fact of having the automatic and upgraded wheels, with nothing else, may be why no one has snatched it up.
They need to add some blue shelby stripes. Would help the looks alot! And probably be sold before long. IMO.

Yeah, I have seen my car's twin (GT) on a lot for almost 4 weeks now. I have not looked at the sticker to see what they are charging yet though.

I think it is more regional. We are in a snowbelt area and our GT 5spd with IUP has been sitting for more than a month. Everybody wants to order so they don't have to store them for the winter.

What’s this I hear about storing a car for the winter? Ah, it’s great to live in California.

or Florida, plus you don't have Cali's crazy taxes, cost of living, or insane environmental laws.

That sounds about $1000 too high for only having auto and wheel upgrades. My MSRP is less than that and I added IUP and Shaker 500... but stuck with the bullitts.

I do agree as so as spring weather arrives those cars will disappear from the lots. We just had to have one right away and knew it would sit all winter taking up space in the garage. Right now I wish it was stored else where so I could be working on some project. The only good point is no salt is getting on the car and I do have the IUP. But no room to play with it. :bang:

I think putting mods on the Mustang would be a good project.

I have room to remove the hydrocarbon filter put on a new filter and intake and I can do the sequentail lights. That is about it, passage, work bench and cabinets take up the space on the left side of the GT, not in picture above. There is only 3" or less between the bodies of the GT and Cobra, so I can't even heat up the garage and do a complete wax job. I may spend time looking for a home with a real nice 3 car or larger garage that is insulated. The sad part is the home is just way we want it with a beautiful finished basement and I would really miss all the fine work I've put into the home, although we would get a few new things we do not have, some we would loose others. I really need a bigger garage and its still a hard decision to make. I can not add on either, I would have done it years ago.

In local Ford dealer they only sold 3 Mustangs (2 V6 and 1 GT) total (I know this because I drive by them every day) and it did took them weeks to sell them.

Now they have V6 and GT, they've been there for over a month.

I stoped by once. They don't allow test drives on 05 Mustangs. Maybe that's why their sales are so bad.

Yes, but you have hurricanes, the heavy rain every day near the end of the summer, the humidity, and....

LOTS AND LOTS OF OLD DRIVERS.

Cost of living is pretty high but so is the pay check so it balances out. Environmental/tint laws are pretty bad though. But I can't think of many other place in the US i'd rather live.

Maybe because it's "hey, we forgot to paint this one" white.
