I ordered my car on March 11, 05 and Got It Yesterday April 14, 05. They told me it may take up to 8 weeks or even more! Yesterday as I was coming from college I decided to stop and tell them not to put any company emblems(Logos) on my car and as I was doing so a Semi truck caring my car was there! I got my car am I Dreaming!!!!!

Glad to hear that some folks are getting their rides in short order. However, for each one of those stories, there are several others that are waiting months on end and still others that may not see the '05 they ordered.

Are you sure it was actually ordered? I mean, 4 weeks is almost too quick of a turnaround period. Even if the order was serialized the day after it was submitted, it usually takes 3-4 weeks to be built and then 1-2 weeks for it to be sent to the dealer after serialization. I think it sounds likely that they happened to have one coming in already that met those specs, or maybe they picked up an already ordered unit from another dealer. What did you pay for it? If it is high, I think my theory is likely. At any rate, it really doesn't matter...you have the car. Big contratulations!!!

Sounds like you spent right at or near MSRP, which is not bad at all in this climate. I still think the car was not actually ordered, but dealt for or already in the order banks. Either way, you are one lucky guy.

There is way you can tell if it was ordered specifically for you. Look at your window sticker and it'll have your name. On mine, it was under all the listed options but before the price I believe.

I just looked at my window sticker, and it doesnt have my name on it?!?!? I know it was built for me, cause I got the VIN right away and everything...Hmmm.....it just has the dealers name on it.
