To all those with spoiler delete?

Why spoiler delete? Mine didnt come with one, and I have spoiler Envy big time everytime i see a yellow one with one. I think it looks really plain without it, just curious why some of you ordered it with spoiler delete? Im going to be ordering my spoiler to spruce up my exterior looks. Again, just curious.....

Truer to the late 60's cars that it is modeled after. Just looks cleaner and more classic. Why have a non functional spoiler that just makes it harder to wax. Too many ricers with spoilers that are just for looks.

Personal preference.
The lines are cleaner. Everything from Hyundai Accents to Dodge Minivans have spoilers. It's overkill. They block your rear view a little. They are a pain to wash around. They don't perform any useful purpose unless you're driving around 200 miles an hour, which the Mustang cannot do. It's a styling statement that has been played out. I don't go out of my way to snub cars with spoilers, I just prefer mine to have none.
If I change the way I feel, I can always add one later, or preferably, a ducktail. They're more integrated with the car and don't look like a cheap accessory.
Happy trails!

I also like it more without the spoiler and then whatever CelticCub said He summarized it pretty well. I'll just add that even if you super-duper charge your Mustang and it does go 200 an hour the kind of spoiler that comes from factory won't help you.

I agree, just plain looks better without it! I ordered mine w/out one and may add a very small ducktail spoiler. The Roush is too big IMO, looking for something very small, like on the last BMW M3's.

Had I ordered, I would have gotten the spolier delete option because I like the look of the car without it. But since I got it off the lot i have a spoiler and it has grown on me, looks pretty nice. The best thing about having it though is it blocks out truck headlights at night when they pull up behind you at a light.
The duck tail looks really sweet, but I can live with my factory spoiler.
BTW spoiler and wings are two different things, spoiler breaks up the air running over the car and can increase fuel economy slightly, a wing is for lift or down force.

I guess it really just boils down to personal preference. I think the car looks better without a spoiler on the back - so I ordered mine that way.
