Are you comparing your car and a picture of one, or another one in person?

Mine has not come in yet but today I seen one in a parking lot and it is a very cloudy day here and I saw no blue. If I did not know about it I would say you could order purple....

Actually I like how it changes depending on the lighting.

When is it blue? Sunny day, night? Thanks.
When it's sunny, it's a bright blue, when its darker out, it get more purple, but it never gets to the point where its completely purple, it tends to be a bluish-purple. But it's not a color I would consider feminine if that's what you are worried about.

I'm not. I love that blue on the sunny day, just purple is not my favorite color but I don't hate it bad enough to change my color choice. Thanks for the replies. Scott.

It definately looks purple at different angles...no way do I want a purple car...

It is definately purple under certain conditions.
This was the color I wanted so bad until I saw them in different lighting conditions.
My wife and I went shopping colors at dealerships for almost two weeks straight.
I could not bring mysel to owning a purple car. I was/am very disappointed.

I really wanted the blue unti I saw it as well. I think it is defiately a personal choice. See it in person before ordering. I can't imagine waiting as long as I have and being jealous of someone else's Stsng.

I have been reading alot here about the Sonic Blue looking Purple. I noticed this at my dealership when I was scouting for the color to order my Mustang. It WILL look Purple if you have your sunglasses on and they happen to be "Driving Lens" (A.K.A. Blue Blockers). I wear mine all the time and noticed this on a Ranger that was Sonic Blue. To me, It is still a nice shade of Blue on a cloudy day, but just not as brilliant as a cloudy day. The glasses will really mess with the color Blue though.
I think it looks great too. The only way to eliminate it is to erase the red from a sunset....it REFLECTS the atmosphere. Geez even white can look purple in some light.
