Just one, but I got into pickups, 78 Trans Am, and I just didn't like the previous body style. My previous car to the Bullitt was an 05 Acura TSX and so far it is the best car I have ever owned, but the Bullitt is the most fun!

I was 20 when I bought my first real ride, a 72 Cutlass convertible. I had it for 14 years before selling it in 2003. Now at 39, I'm very, very happy to have my 2007 GT/CS.

Is anyone keeping track of the average age? That should be listed somewhere...

16 when it all started with the Orange Bomb (78 Mustang II)
41 when I got Awesome.

/but 25 in the head and heart!

I'm 21 now. A sports car was supposed to be a graduation gift to myself but some one stole my '02 Intrepid that I had since I was 15. Oh well this just means that the CS will have to be supercharged for that Graduation Gift.

I was 18 when my dad bought the first mustang, a '64 model. I was 42 when I purchased my first, an '88 GT. Later a '92 GT convertible was my last until at the tender age of 61 I couldn't resist the '07 Shelby GT. You youngsters make me feel old but the Shelby takes care of that

Jim

My first Mustang was my current '07 GT ragtop at the young age of 41... but started wrenching around 14 on a 1970 Nova, followed by a '68 Nova SS when I was 20 that I fully restored and owned for 16 years.

Got the bug again after totalling my Harley in '05 while in Sturgis (another phase I went through - lol) and fell in love with the S197's!

But now I am older, wiser, and financially able to "mod" the new toy!!!

memories...

If memory serves me well...17 with a 66, 22 with an 85, 23 with a 66 fastback, (and the others) 26 added a 73' Vert (sweetest one!) sold the 85 and first 66 at 30 (new babies, station wagon for wifey) , sold the fastback at 38 (new F150) sold the 73 at 42 for the new 05 GT 'Vert. Been fixing, re-building and modding 'Stangs since 1975. I've had my hands in more than I can remember...but love this newest model the most. While the 73 was hardest to part with (sons helped with the restoration) Took Best of Show, Best in Class, and Best Paint in July 04 show (out of 300+ cars)I've loved doing all the mods with their input, help and ambition. Re-living it and re-loving it, all again with the 05.
