Count me in at 58. This is my 3rd Mustang GT after owning an '87 and a '95. Prior to those I owned 3 Z/28s, a 1974, 1980, and a 1984 with the L69 HO engine option - a whopping 190 horsepower!
No mid-life crisis here though - I've owned nothing but muscle cars since I was 18. Since 1980, my main car has always been either a Camaro Z/28 or Mustang GT. And of course I plan to keep the tradition going with a 2015 S550.

Im 40 years YOUNG ! I have a 07 Vista blue GT500 with tungsten stripes and i absolutely love it. I feel like a kid when i am driving my car, cleaning my car, working on my car, even looking at my car, LOL. Keeps you young. I've had a bunch of mustangs but this one is my favorite.

46 here... 2006 SCY GT delivery taken Dec 7th 2005 bought in a fit of Manopause. precursor to midlife crisis.
Caught all kinds of hell for buying it and got the usual midlife crisis comments. I will never give her up until it is time to give to my son and he is bound to keep her until his son or daughter is ready to take her. Assuming we aren't all driving Prius's by then....
Going on a 300 mile cruise with her in 12 hours to recharge after a hellish week...

Hi Phil. I ordered my 2014 Mustang and took delivery less than a month before turning 73. She's my first Mustang and I have driven here over 18,000 miles in a little over a year and turned 74 in that time. I've taken here on a long road trip and have driven her in autocross and intend to do more of both.

A Ruby Red Ragtop??? Wow! I remember seeing the ads in the magazines when the Mustangs were first introduced back in the mid 60's and the red ragtops were a big selling feature, caught my attention at 10 years old anyway!!!
Enjoy your 2014 and take care!!!
Phil

If my quick math is correct, the average age of those that have posted in this thread is 49.8 years old. Might as well round it off to say the average age of Mustang owners here is 50 years old!
