I think I would rather have the concept hood rather than the shaker hood but that would look sick too. And FYI CDC made the shaker hood for Ford for the Mach 1 so I think they most likely will make it for the 05's

I have said this before, but IMO, the single shaker hood scoop will not look good on the new Mustang's big, wide hood. I am definitely hoping for a hood with dual scoops, similar to the concept hood.

If they do, and I'm sure many companies will, I hope it's a much more modern interpretation of the Shaker hoodscoop rather than a simple copy of the old one. Retro's OK to a point, but can quickly get just old and tired if taken too far. Better to reflect the past rather than to recreate it.

Sure, there's a lot of rich and well deserved heritage in the shaker scoop, as well as many other design features, but my hope is that Ford and the Mustang take that heritage solidly into the future and create new and fresh heritage on its own merits and fresh ideas rather than living so much off the past.

It's certainly a fine balance, but IMHO, some of the things like a full on retro shaker scoop and the Bullitt wheels go too far into '60's-world and end up looking rather backward and dated in the end more than anything else.

i still stick with the shaker hood idea. 2% increase is pretty good hp gain i guess. that about 6hp. hmm well not really but it will look really good at least

I want a set of Reverse Extractors on the Hood Like the ones on the Shelby GR1. Just like the ones on a 67 Mustang.

Or The Scoop from the GT-R
