I like a spoiler, and until I can upgrade to CDC's ducktail, or the Shelby 500, I'm happy with the stocker.
I don't like the way the stock wing looks from the rear either. But from a profile standpoint, the straight wedge of the body could use a slight lift at the rear. That is why I like the Shelby spoiler better even though I have the delete. JMHO

JMHO.
Ah yes, in the same way the aluminum bolt-on wing I bought from Pep Boys looks aggressive on my Civic...

If it was in black and curved more to fit the car's shape it'd be okay... thing the old spoilers from the Boss.

I like the stock spoiler, which is why my stang has it. I do love the CDC ducktail though, very nice look.

But, the spoiler-less stangs look great too! One great aspect of these cars is they look great with or without the spoiler.

Not that your car does not look nice without the spoiler (it does look nice and clean) but I love the S197 with stripes and IMO a spoiler is needed for that look. I had the stock spoiler on my V6 and plan to get it on my GT, I really like it on this car.

I'm just the opposite. As the original 1965 GT-350 had stripes and no spoiler (the mustang that originated that look), IMO I think it looks more accurate without a spoiler.

I love deversity, the new Mustangs looks great with or without them.AFBlue did point out that early Stangs came without the spoiler and they do look great.I'm always up for trying something new, maybe its my age(50) but I' never thought I would run a car with 20" wheels let alone this here Steeda wing.I was just having fun making my car look like a cartoon.

Oh MAN that's tight! IMO that's about as acurate as it can get w/ the 65 model to the current, spoiler delete comparision. I was walking upon my car today aproaching(?) from the rear, just off to the right. I come to one conclusion. The trunk lid stays clean. LOVE IT!

I'm a huge Mustang fan....love reading about them and looking at pictures and going to shows. The S-197 shares it looks from all three 60's Mustangs 1964.5-1970. The spoiler is deffinetely a cue from 1969-1970.....I think it looks awesome flat black.........Don't get me wrong, I think it looks great clean too......I went back and fourth a ton of times before I ordered my car with the spoiler.

I've got to say I prefer spoilers on these mustangs. My favorite stang is a '69 MACH I and I loved the spoiler on that car. I also like the look with stripes.

I also think that this is a highly subjective subject, some will like it and some will not. That's what's great about these new Mustangs - you can easily personalize to your own tastes.

Here was what I decided to go with: stock spoiler with super snake stripes.

I really like the black accents you did on your car, by the way.

I really like the rear spoiler...otherwise it looks rather "plain Jane" in the back...just my opinion.
