This was the first weekend since I took delivery. After detailing it out and putting on a coat of Zaino's, I took to the streets. After driving by several thumbs ups, my first stop was to give my friends teenage son a demonstration. I drove to the nearest expressway on ramp. Somewhere between 0 and 80, I'm sorry to say, he wet his pants in excitement... Next time I'll have some diapers in the glove box...

I quickly took him home and then proceeded to cruise the streets. As I came up behind some ricers, they apparently turned off on side streets and disappered, I guess to avoid possibe embarrassment...

In fact, during the entire afternoon, I couldn't seem to locate anyone willing to be blown away by this fortress of power...

So I just leisurely cruised around, enjoying the looks and pointing from others in cars on the street... :worship:

As dinner time approached, I drove back home, put her in the garage and covered her up...

it's funny stuff, I tell ya..... I have this Russian friend, and I give him more than his share of shiz, but he woudn't rid with me in my '98 anymore after I took him for a spin. He was used to driving these little 4 poppers and thought his 2000 Maxima was fast. So.... I showed him what fast was (had 3.73's in her) and scared the doo doo out of him... he didn't actually deficate in my car, but he refused to go anywhere with me again..... even if it were in just a straight line. I can't wait to get my Mustang... I'll leave the service tech's plastic in the seat when I take him for a ride again.... I'm plannin' on a Whipple sittin' atop the engine when I do get it..... but probably the '06 model.

Haa you people are funny. I test drove an 05 GT 5-speed and invited my dealer to join me and scared the shine off his shoes soo funny.

I casually pulled up to the exit of the dealership and waited for all (most) cars to clear the 4 lane street(yes 4 lanes on each side and yes a street not a highway, gotta love Michigan for somethin) so I pulled out gradually and just when he thought I was going to take it slow I nailed it and got a lil sideways action and hit second like I owned it. I wish I had my camera to take a picture of his face and him holding on to the OS (Ohhh Sh*t) handles...priceless. He was like "umm ok we can turn left at this turn around" LOL
