AAI TOUR
Yeah, that was a great sight, seeing the car being built from freshly pressed pieces of metal to driving off the assembly line (which is where we were all able to see the dark IUP on a Redfire GT with 18" bullits). Great times!
Thanks again Brad. I had a great time.
Also, thanks for having the ***** to walk over to the redfire with the chrome bullits and dark IUP. I was afraid to be the first and I really wanted a close look at that one.

If a tour could be planned in the summer I would love to go. I finish my Balkans deployment in April and should be free for a tour of AAI during summer timeframe. Would have no trouble flying in from Germany, just need a room reservation somewhere close with an ice cold beer to savior. Cheers

Brad we throughly enjoyed the tour and we thank you for your effort in arranging this meet. One question please reguarding the plenum cover , you say it differs from the prototype in that it covers the throttle body . Is this correct,so does it go right to the rubber air duct. Your comments on how it looks and does it have the original scripts and logos. Any pictures?
Thanks Brad, we had a great time Monday. Let me know next time your are back in Michigan.
I had to stop at CDC on the way back to Grand Rapids. Bought a light bar and installed it Tuesday night. Wow, it looks great. I really makes it look completely different.

We're planning something very special for the summer.

Brad,
If something is going on for the summer pls let me know by emailing or something. I only get to the check the forum ever so often and no set time as I do the mission here. While my GT Convertible will stay in Germany while I travel to the states I'll see if I can get my hands on a Mustang somehow to drive to your summer event. Cheers

Stupid newbie question. What's AAI stand for? I'm going to be ordering a Vert this spring and would love to take a tour to see them being built. My first new car was a '79 Mustang Turbo. I've had classic Corvette's over the years and now want to get back to my first love.....the Mustang. Thanks..this forum is the best.
You could google AAI and get:

Arab American Institute
Architectural Association of Ireland
Arizona Automotive Institute
Association of Advertisers in Ireland
Applied AI Systems, Inc.
American Antitrust Institute
American Alpine Institute
Australian Aid International

BTW, not knowing what AAI stands for could get you:

Good article, thanks. I now know my acronymns. The article also mentions Six Sigma Black Belts. Funny how I didn't know what AAI meant, but Six Sigma Black Belt makes total sense to me, especially since I am one. And it has nothing to do with martial arts, either.
Cool plant.....would love to do a tour in the future.
