An awesome shot would be where all the '05's are parked prior to shipping

I believe the Mazda MX-6 and Ford Probe were manufactured there in the 90's. Currently the Mazda 6 is being manufactured their with the Mustang.

I've never been there or seen pictures of it before, thanks.

The building to the north of it...is that the same facility? It looks like a track to the North-West.

I went on an aerial photo shoot one time. It was a little puddle jumper. I got a bunch of pictures, but man, looking thru a zoom lens while the pilot is goofing off and doing tricks really messes with your stomach. I needed the bag once.

After that, I was fine.

Those are sat photos anyway, if you were in a spacesuit hanging onto the side of the satelite, yeah, that would be a little nerve racking. :-)

You're right. The Probe and MX-6 were built at AAI. Pretty cool that my current car (Probe GT) and my future car will both be built at the same plant.

BTW, awesome photos. The satelites are capable of an even higher resolution (within a few feet) but I believe the US military restricts the maximum resolution to a couple hundred feet or something.

Those pictures are at 1 meter resolution (that is 1 meter per pixel).

Look Wendy, I'm flying!!!

Looks like US satellites. Guess the Russians had no interest in American auto plants. (terraserver uses US and Russian/Soviet images)

Yeah cool photo. I friend of mine who has an advanced government job told me a couple years ago they had the ability too tell whether or not a quarter was heads or tails side up. I know that about a decade ago they had the capability of reading license plates, and you though it was tough to avoid photo radar before :cop:
