Just got a call and stopped in to check it out. 7 of the 05's delivered just past noon today. 4 gt's 3 V-6's. fyi, for those in the area. They are not accepting a or x plans at this time and are charging 2,000 over MSRP. Spoke with the manager and they expect 30 cars to hit their lot by the end of the year. They claim the tardiness in the delivery was due in part to a strike by the truckers which resulted in a capacity issue. Looks like they have that worked out as the cars are slowly starting to trickle into the dealerships.

 

I feel sorry for the jackenhiemers that will pay that 2000 over.

They'll find those cars sitting there a lot longer too.

 

That is what I told them. Also worth noting not one of the GT's had the upgraded wheels or interior packages. All plain jane with the exception of wheel locking upgrade. I did get the opportunity of riding shotgun with the sales guy as they took the car to the detail shop. I was impressed having last owned a 95 GT. Still have to see one in person with the upgrades to finalize decison. They did have a few with the spoiler delete option. That is the way to go IMO.
