I've been patiently waiting to see the first GT with the new-for-'06 18" Bullitt wheels (64W) . I've read production begins somewhere around mid-October. Has anybody seen these wheels on a GT yet or better yet, has anyone "captured" (took a pic of) these new babies on a GT yet??

Who will be first?

Dbl E GT

PS: I think the 18" Bullitts are gorgeous and look much better than the 18" Fanblades.... Your Thoughts?

The Bullits are what I wanted to order, but I did not want the wait. The Fanblades that I will be getting appear from what I have seen on posts look great. I am hoping with the Peformance White that I have on order that they will also look great. If I don't like I will change to Bullits when the become available.

I think the fanblades fit the car better The bullits look nice but a lot of pple have them. Whether their stock, black, chrome, or soon to be 18".

Oh boy... another "Fanblades vs. Bullits" thread.

Can we have another "vinyl vs. painted stripes" thread too while we're at it?

BTW- I like the fanblades better.

For the wheels and tires I'm sure you could. I doubt you'd get $800 for just the wheels though.

Now thats a fast response time. Thanks Ryan.Just gettin a feel for pricing incase I have to do a quick stop off at the custom wheel place on the way home from picking up my vert. I truly liked the blades better when they were on the show cars as all polished. When Amy first posted pics of the first 06's my heart sank when I saw the blades weren't fully polished.Oh well things could be a lot worse.....

I think you may be pleasantly surprised when you see the fanblades in person (assuming you haven't already). IMO the painted/polished combo looks better than the all-polished show car blades - especially when the sun hits them.

If those are the new 18"s... :worship:

But I would STILL swap em for my Foose's. The reason I ALWAYS will stick with the Foose is that they look almost IDENTICAL to the Bullit design, with a little more twist and a tad bigger.

Ok, I was all set to play the waiting game for my 64W's...and today I get a call from a dealer that I thought was pulling my string about ordering my car, but today he told me my 06 Torch Red GT just came in and when can I come get it!!!

Now the car in my sig is on order from Mossy Ford in San Diego and it's at x-plan, so I tell dealer #1 that I hadn't heard from him since the day I ordered the car and I thought my order got lost in the shuffle...and to make a long story short...I asked him if I can have this GT at x-plan and he said he has to check with the big guy. he said he'd call me wednesday and that he was sure we could work something out.

Same options as car below except for color and it has 17" Bullitts. X-plan price would be $27,202 before tax and license. I've only got 25,000 saved up...thought I had more time...guess I'll have to finance the balance.
Whoaa!

Magnum500s = Mach 1 wheels... I'm assuming he's saying he prefers the Magnums over the blades and the bullits.

Thanks for the pic, couldn't wait to see those wheels on a car for the first time. Looks great, absolutely awesome!!!!
I've been thinking about this fanblades vs. bullitts thing for some time already... and the fact I won't see any 06 Mustang here in Austria in the near future makes this one even tougher. Anyway, seems as if I'm confirmed to trade up to those bullitts soon as they're out.

The pics of those 64W rims dont do them justice. They look alot different than the standard bullit rims you see now. I was at the Dreamcruise where that red gt with the 64W was. On one side of the car, they had the standard painted 64W and the other side was the chrome side.

IMO, they look awesome. I am going to wait for a set of those to put on my 05gt.

Sam
