Is $600 over Invoice a good deal?
One of the dealers intown said I could order what I want in the 2005 stang for$600 over invocie lus $29 for paperwork/doc prep fee. Delivery would be 8-10 weeks.

Is this a good deal? The other dealer in town ( whom I have bought 3 fords from) said MSRP....no dealing! :notnice:
Does the delivery time seem reasonable?
Thanks all.

It is a fair price for both you and the dealer. It is hard to get dealers to comit to anything below 3% over invoice. Unless there is a dealer willing to sell you the car @ 2% or $500 over invoice, I would jump @ $600 over invoice -just make sure to get it in writting. B)
A church friend who sells Fords at a local dealership agreed yesterday to sell me a new V6 Premium for $500 over invoice. Got to get it in writing from him this week. I've been checking other dealers in my area and none want to sell below MSRP. I didn't particularly want to buy from this dealer due to past grievances but it may be my only chance locally to get the decent deal on what I want. Of course the sales mgr may nix the deal at that price anyway - we'll see!
Invoice ( With FDAF and GAS charge PLUS $500 Over Invoice: $25,165.55
MSRP: ( With FDAF and GAS ChargePLUS $500 Over Invoice: $27,397.55
Savings: $2,232.00
Ordered it today, everything is in writing, signing the papers tomorrow after work.
