#49 a.c. fuse keeps blowing

Hi I have a 2007 Ford Mustang GT 4.6. My number 49 fuse keeps blowing I have replaced all the fuses and the relay in the engine compartment. If I unplug the compressor the fuse still blows if I unplug the a.c. cutoff switch it doesn't. So I replaced the cut off switch and it still blows. Could I have Gotton a bad 1.0 diod? Or any other ideas how to diagnosis this problem. Also if you have a wiring diagram that could help me too.
thanks
Ryan

That's the cars way of telling you to delete the A/C.

Never a good idea to delete the A/C. These cars have no floor kick panel vents and will roast your feet out of the car on a hot day. Tall console with no foot-well air circulation and V8 heat is a bad combo. Not only that, 05's and some early build 06's had no heater core insulation on the exposed pipes showing in the drivers side foot-well which radiated more heat to floor.

I'm pretty sure the OP is long gone. This was his only post ever, back in September, so I'm guessing he joined a few forums looking for the answer.

But just for posterity, wiring changes year to year but looks like for '07 its pretty much the same (see attached 2007 addendum).

Looking at the diagram, the A/C pressure switch and the clutch field coil aren't directly connected except through the relay. Seems to me like something's shorting out. I'd pull the relay and see if the fuse still blows (it really shouldn't) and look at replacing the relay.
