Nothing on AAA Bluegrass either. I went to the midatlantic site and it said the closest dealer is over 500 miles away.

Member of AAA Carolinas here and nothing. MidAtlantaic site said Pennsylvania closest to SC. Would have been nice though.

ACE any idea where it said 300 under invoice in the midatlantic section. The only offer I saw was a 2500 rebate.

Thanks
Ben

after you pick a dealer and are about to fill out the form for your "certificate". It's on that page...but each dealer might have a different deal. There was one dealer who was closer to me that I tried first where it said invoice price for 2004. And I contacted them first and he said he had no info about the 2005. So I went to the next closest dealer. And I was very excited when I saw it say 300 under invoice 2004/2005 mustang!!

For CAA members, I have sent CAA an e-mail asking about the price relative to invoice if you purchase a car from a CAARS preferred dealer.

I'll keep you posted.

If it exists, I'm sure you can sign up with CAA and get it.

As far as it existing in Canada, that's what the e-mail was for.

I'll get back to you whenever they respond.

Sorry, I don't understand what x-plan and a-plans are. I'm guessing one is an employee discount and the other is a supplier, family, or loyal customer discount?

My dad gets a supplier discount (works for GE). Always good to know these things.

even if you can get it for invoice price...you would be foing a heck of a lot better than most people who are going to be paying full msrp

did you try and follow the exact links that i laid out? I can try and be a little more specific if you think it would help.
First let me note that I am currently not a AAA member, so I can't log in to the site. Which is why I may not be getting it.

But when I go to the AAA website it takes me to aaawa (I'm in Washington and that is the site for the region). I click on "Automotive" and can not find an actual linked called "Vehicle Buying Program"
If you do join AAA and log into the site, you can build out a request form for a given vehicle, and that request is forwarded to your choice of local dealers. Their AAA program manager then contacts you.

actually, I am speaking about the CSAA (California branch of AAA). Not sure if it is different for other states, and for now the form does NOT include pricing and the 2005 Mustang is not listed. So I filled mine out for 2004, got the call back, and then told them I want a 2005.

That's exactly whay i did except even though I had to choose 2004 mustang...the second dealer I chose had pre-printed on the certificate "300 under invoice 2004/2005 mustang"

If you work for certain Ford partners then you are eligible for the XX plan pricing. For instance the railway company I work for is a Ford partner. I believe the discount on a 2004 Ford when I was looking at a new Taurus was $2000.00.
