The ONLY reason the price went that high was because it was done for a charity.

I have no idea why he gets notoriety for his cars. I don't see much creativity in them at all. They all look alright, but it is just off-the-shelf stuff. What's the big deal?

In any case, $300k is just stupidity at it's most obvious. Charity or not.

He's no Chip Foose... what's the big deal? Rookie's like myself and other's on this forum have done much better jobs customizing their cars and have actually done the work themselves.

HA. I looked at the photo before I read all of your guys posts, and thought "Whats so special about it?" There much better cars that went for much less.

And who is Funkmasterflex anyways? I mean how'd he get so big? Did he start off as a DJ? Or was he a DJ in a bigger band? He's one of those people that became famous for no reason.

BTW, I was watching Spike Tv this weekend, and they mentioned that Goldbergs car would be auctioned off with a lot of added stuff thrown in for charity. Anyone know how much it went for?

Who is Funk Master Flex? I have no idea.....but he did not get rid of that sailboat mast antenna on the car and I think that is one of the "necessary" mods...............$300,000 and now that person has to go out and get a $20 antenna......................

All the money went to a Childrens Cancer Charity ... they had a whole bunch of kids with cancer up on the stage during the bidding ....

Funkmaster is a nighttime DJ on z100, new york's (i guess) equivalent of a top 40 station
His car may not be the most creative and is certainly not the best bang for the buck, but at least a substantial amount of money went to a necessary cause

I thank the idiot who paid the 300k and I am sure some kids with cancer thank him also. The buyer was doing a good thing for many people with out a dobt. Thats not being an idiot or dumb ....its a very nice kind thing to do. Know any one with cancer or some one who died from cancer. I bet they wouldn't think it was dumb.
The buyer could have just givin the money with out getting a car.... at least this way he's got something his friends can make fun of him for now.
