Well 3 weeks until i go out with my parents and choose a 2005 mustang V6 [has to be under 24,000] the three weeks part is when I get my report card and that can lower insurance. As far as i know i have all A's and one B!! im soo happy I could be "The first 16 year old to revieve a 2005 mustang on this site" haha i am looking for...black,per.white,torch red, or a sonic blue mustang with Dk charcoal leather bucket seats, IUP...heh well that will be hard, exterior sport app.package. I am soo happy!! I posted a thread about my black 05 but..it turned out that it was my uncles, my dad was holding it for him while he was on vacation. but anyway i am soo happy and this will be the slowest and exciting three weeks i will ever have See ya! B)

I jsut got back from the dealership and picked up my 05 Sliver V6, pretty much fully loaded without the 1000 Shaker. I will turn 16 in 3 more months, and YES I admit to being spoiled by my parents.

 

I feel bad, still even with good grades insurance is going to take off your left hiney check !! I hate insurance companies ! Some wouldn't even carry me because of the car.

Congrats man. I'm 16 with a fully loaded V6. This will definately be the slowest 3 weeks of your life, but once you get it you'll forget all about the wait.

 

im 16 i have a v6, its not fully loaded, only thing it doesnt have is interior accent red leather thing, and iup, i didnt want to wait for a iup to come in, they had my silver one, and im in love! lol im the only kid at my school with a nice new car

 

I'm 18 and part of the "Doesnt have one, really wants one and won't be getting one anytime soon" club. My parents told me if I wanted one I had to pay for it myself maybe I can get an 06 or 07.

i only get 150 bucks off insurance for honor student discount and I'm in college, and 50 bucks for firefighter discount. Hey stang101, ur parents want to buy me another 05 Mustang as well?? Convertible??? or help me pay off the rest of the payments I owe on my coupe

no offense, but i cant stand it seeing that a kid gets any newer car from mommy and daddy and arent paying for it...i have bought 5 cars (im 19) all on my own without any financial help. i've worked my **** off since i was 16 and got my 1st job, working 40hrs AND going thru high school, and still doing it today going thru college..just do us a favor and dont wrap it around a pole or nothin' <_<

Congrats but gotta say I am jealous that you are getting a car bought for you. Must be nice.

 

I won't rail on about people having the rents buy a car for them. If you have the resources use them. I just turned 24 and will be buying my first car under 5-years old. IMO it's best to start out with a beater or two before jumping up to something like the Stang. Or any new car for that matter of fact.

Anywho, I'm just glad I'll be able to buy my first new car before getting finished with college.

Lords knows between a 93 Eclipse and 95 Civic I've been through pergatory.

Luckily for me insurance wasnt at all what they first quoted us at... for my old truck my insurance was 900 dollers a year... I am 18 and just received my new redfire GT and my insurance only went up 300 dollers... thank god for discounts... they originally quoted us a 3000 a year but ended up that quoted me for a 05 Ford GT hehe...

 

Yea, I also got a good grades discount on my insurance. 17, I got a black GT.
