Well, after nearly 4 months I've decided to give up on my original order. I just got back from placing a new order with another, higher volume, dealership. Thanks to 3RD1 by way of IWantMyNewGT for the tip on Ford Store Morgan Hill. BTW, they have a beautiful loaded black GT on the lot for "a little under msrp" if anyone is interested. Unfortunately it is an auto or I would have been tempted.

Anyway, wish me luck on try #2. If this takes 12 weeks (they assured me 8 to 12) that would put me at 7 months from original order to delivery. Patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue....

Are you still unscheduled? I was just thinking on the way back from the dealer that I should have found a new dealer at about the 2 month point. If you haven't been scheduled yet than your dealers allocation is probably not very good and it may be time to try another dealer.
