24/40mm offset wheels
24/40mm offset wheels
Someone remind me again which is which. 24mm offset sticks out further than 40mm or other way around?
I'm ordering up 20" razors tomorrow and want to be sure of how I want it to look.
I want the rear to sit out a tad bit further than the front for a lil offset. Does anyone have an idea how much more it will sit out with the diff offset front to rear?

Take a look here for some Ideas. This is also a good link that will give you an idea of how changing the offset will make the wheel look different.

Thanks for the other link though..very good.
The 24mm offset is the one that will stick out and 40mm is tucked in..
GPSstang06 posted about both offsets of razors on his car (24mm in the rear and 40mm in the front).

Sorry, I didn't even notice that was your post. I wasn't trying to be a Smart A$$.
The 24mm offset will give the rim more of a "Deep Dish" look and push the tire out closer to the edge of the fender. The 40mm offset will pull the tire in closer to the center of the car. I would only be worried if your car is lowered that the 40mm offset could rub the outer fender. But that all depends on how "lowered" your car is.
What's the width of the wheels that you are looking to run?

Good luck with the purchase the Razors look great on these cars.

Thanks guys for all the info. Will be getting em tossed on tomorrow. Appreciate all the pics, etc. I went w the 24mm offset in rear and 40mm in front w 275 all around. Wont be able to rotate but I can always have the tires torn down and swapped front to rear if the rears get low on rubber.
