If its not posted somewhere online its always good to ask if the retailer has maximum age policy. A tire two years or less shouldn't exhibit any issue if its been stored properly - that's the real problem, if the tires haven't been stored in what boils down to a cool dry place it can accelerate the aging process.

Well, I found a nice deal on the RS3 summer tires, so they're being installed on Friday. I'll post some pictures and a review after I get them.

Probably got the best deal from Cooper on a tire that worked with his Mustang or was willing to spec a tire for Roush.

I had a chance to talk to a Michelin rep awhile back and he said they hated dealing with OE fitments, not enough margin but they do it because they need the volume and recognition. Based on that I'd say Roush probably got the best deal from Cooper on a tire that worked with his Mustang or was willing to spec a tire for his application.

I did buy the Cooper's and didn't like how they looked on my car. The sidewall is ugly and they bulged out compared to the stock Pirelli's, which I didn't like. Performance was nice, but for my needs (daily driver) I just traded them in for a new set of P-Zero Nero AS's. They look much better and perform more than good enough for me.
