2014 v6 rims on 2005 v6
I bought a set of 2014 rims for my 2005 mustang. It had 215 65 16 tires on the rims. I didn't know the ones I bought from a 2014 mustang were 215 65 17s. The bolt pattern and spacing are all the same but I am wondering if the inch taller tire will work especially with the speedometer and the tranny shifting correctly. Any help would be great. Thanks.

That extra inch is going to mess up the speedometer a bit. At 70mph, you'll be going 72.59mph. Not a huge deal. I'd probably live with it, until it was time for new tires. Then I'd replace with 235/55/17.
If you don't wanna live with it, you can get a tune or just correct the Speedo.
