Depends on the course, but the SGT was equipped with a hella-nice suspension. Ford should have made it an option along with some summer tires on the GT from day one. Tires more than anything else add the grip, but the FR3 suspension really does a wonderful job of fixing the high speed shenanigans that the 05-09 cars were subject to. On top of that you can trim out bit of understeer as well.

I'm shaking my head at the CTS-V, Viper and ESPECIALLY that 700+hp GTR considering there were two drivers. Oh well, i'm happy with the overall winner!

And some say Shelby is just a name plate these days...

The SGT would have been my choice until I got mezmerized by the SMQB.

It was a simple, solid axle, naturally aspirated Ford Mustang that picked up the overall win.
Gotta love it!!

It had the best overall time (1/8 mile + reaction time + road course time), and the best road course time of any of the cars, which included two GTRs, Porshe 996 Turbo, M3, CTS-V, and a stock CIVIC SI driven by the absolute worst driver in recorded history.
