My God, does that bring back memories!!! Let's hope that the Mary Kay folks don't talk to Caroll Shelby. I can see it now, Shelby GTs coming off the line in white, black, or silver with Hot Pink nail polish LeMans stripes. Hey, can anyone do a photoshop of that image?

With factory ones I may get a pair. I'm sure it will retrofit easilly. If they have high-low beams, even if they do the halogen highs like they did on the SVTF, I can dump the fog lights. I was getting ready to get saleen's when I saw the threads on the projectors getting burned.

Did they take the 3.55 ratio option off of the Deluxe GT???
I only see it on the premium.

New Prices for 2008

Now that the 2008 order guide is out, can we get a Price breakdown of each Option?
What are the Dealer Costs and MSRP's?

I doubt if it goes up much, if at all option-for-option. Stuff like the auto trans has come down in price. Most MSRP's on the new Fords are less then the year before it.

I mean, they have to have something if someone already ordered a 2008, a Dealer, or Kev maybe?

When I ordered my 05 I did it so Early I did not Have a Clue what the Prices were! After a Car is Ordered the Dealer can Request a Priced Dora and Get the Prices that way. But I will be the First to Admit the Sales end is not my Greatest Area of Expertise!

Here's a summary of what's new for the 2008 Mustang GT:
  • HID headlamps
  • Interior ambient lighting
  • Dark candy apple red paint
  • Silver clearcoat metallic paint
  • Vapor clearcoat metallic paint
  • Grabber orange California Special paint
If I've missed something please include it.

Grabber Orange was available on the 07 after Job 2 in December, i.e. you can get a 2007 Grabber Orange GT/CS right now.

I don't know if you are aware of this or not: it appears to be a special edition mustang promoting breast cancer awareness/etc., NOT a mary kay vehicle.

Dealer quoted me today on the HID replacements.....$750 each not counting the bulbs and ballasts of which they did not have pricing on yet. Their guess total would be about $4000 to $4500 for the set installed.

I may have to reconsider selecting this HID option if it cost this much on the 2008s. It's not worth it to me.

You're right, I was not aware of it. As mentioned above by 95stangkc who said it was the Mustang Sally Edition, I may not be alone. My apologies for comments which are in very poor taste. It would appear that I have more in common with Don Imus than I thought.

Well, KC originally had it posted as a Mustang Sally edition, before he knew what the package really entailed (which was no fault of his). I think everyone thought that it was just a pink mustang. It wasn't until very recently that they came out with pics of the emblem, and it shows a pink ribbon.

So, I don't think there's any reason to put yourself down...this info just came out, and none of us knew what the car's "purpose" was, except for that it was pink.

I was just informing you of the "purpose" that is now evident.
