All in the eye and ear of the beholder of course. My choice is supercharger over turbo but either argument is legit. I personally have a 2010 gt and my exhaust set up is. A bbk throttle body and spacer with pypes long tube headers and off road hpipe with pypes muffler delete tips. So it's very loud and turns heads if that's what u want.
Also I have a sct3 tuner on 93 race and jlt CIA, underdrive pulleys, lowering spring, full tint around(all lights and front window) black billet grill, hurst short throw shifter. Ford hot rod
Racing cams shortly so ill let u know
How they do. Just other stuff that can be done that's isn't too pricey And makes a difference.

depending on your overall goals and timeline (and budget) can dictate what you are looking to do. i've been doing things at a rather slow pace, adding a CAI, race tune, and now underdrive pulleys. i have to say, the car is night and day difference in driveability, sound, and fun. these cars will never have the power of the new 5.0's without adding a supercharger or turbo, but i love this body style so much more and no matter how you look at it, it's still a quick car and is a lot of fun to drive.
i would say these are good first mods if you are looking to do relatively easy mods. another easy good mod would be exhaust, whether it's after-back mufflers or a cat-back system, or a full system with long-tube headers and all. you do have to keep in mind that emissions and inspection can become an issue in certain areas with long tube headers. i personally like the MAC pro chamber exhaust system and when i get around to it that will most likely be what i get (although i will weld in cats).
if you're looking for further engine mods, other options are a throttle body (not much of a gain without a supercharger), performance intake, and various types of suspension mods (roush, steeda, frpp). i'm not an expert with superchargers or turbos, but i tend to like the superchargers a little more because of the different options. i'm sure others can comment more on the superchargers and turbo who have more experience with them.

Agreed but a lot is the driver. A fully bolt on 2010 gt can easily run with a 5.0 stock with the right driver. I'm looking into a roush,gt500 or ford racing whipple for supercharger. I like the instant pull of the supercharger over the build up of turbo.
Welcome! My bit of advice is READ everything you can. I started almost 2 years ago and I'm still trying to take it all in. I can tell you what I have done... My short, short list is, K&N CAI, SCT X3 bamma hybrid tune (soooo sweet!), Steeda short shift block, Changed out the two piece spark plugs. I can tell you with just the CAI and the tune the car is awesome! Have fun
