I saw it several times during Barrett Jackson too. It's pretty cool. Glad you posted it.

 

Sweet commercial.. it worked on me. Now I can't wait to get off work so I can drive my car again.

Cool Commercial. They say in four models, what do they mean.
1) V6

4) GT Vert
5) GTCS
6) Shelby GT
7) Shelby GT500
8) Bullitt
9) Shelby CS6
And I'm sure I missed one or two.

 

The cops with the thumbs up cracked me up.

I was out eating on the porch at this local hooters and looked up at the tv mounted in the corner over my buddy's should and my jaw dropped seeing this GT powerslide around the corner

I was like WTF?!?!

GREAT commercial

(I especially love the alarm clock upside the head)

 

The others you mentioned are just add-on packages.

 

Chevrolet had to cancel their Corvette commercial, which didn't show nearly the aggressive driving this one shows. Will be interesting to see if it stands.

 

Corvette's commercial was cancelled because it had a kid driving the car......

This was an interesting review of the Shelby GT. The STi looks like a radical ride at $38k.

 

It's interesting how they took my exact dream...lol. That's a great commercial, and the one where the announcer says "since the ford mustang has no competition..."

 

Anybody know where you can download a copy of the commercial?

 

Cool!!! I may have to take the cover off and sit it mine for the first time since November (it's snowing out as we speak).

It definitely was an '08. You could see the factory HID's when he's stopped at the light.

 

Cool, about time Ford threw a couple advertisng bucks back on the Mustang.

What cracks me up is that the two cars fall into the same 'price category' for ONE reason - because Shelby's name is on the car.

The STi no doubt has its benefits and great points

But the price point on the Shelby GT is mostly justified because it is a limited run (numbered) car with Shelby's name on it.
