2008 Ford Mustang GT - Finally at Home

Just got the call from the dealer this morning and picked up my brand spanking new 2008 Mustang GT.

It's been a LONG waiting, but well worth it. Sadly no hi-res pictures temporarily, because the camera that also arrived today from NewEgg is defective out of the box.

These pictures will have to do for now:

Nice, congrats! I find it odd, you'd think the engine plenum cover would just be default at this point, it makes such a huge difference appearance wise.

how are the hids?

ConGrats! Are the exhaust tips an upgrade now or standard? Nice Pony!

Haven't driven at night yet, so dunno yet. Just got the car this morning. Will report back after tonight.

The exhaust tips were optional. Don't plan to swap out for a new exhaust system anytime soon with a brand new car. Might wait awhile before doing that. So, I just went ahead and just got the exhaust tips installed.

Congrats! I often wish I'd gotten black. Like Sonic Blue is any easier to keep clean ... Now run from this website and never come back, or it'll cost you plenty in mods for your car! It's just fine the way that it is. (Keep repeating that to yourself.) If you're already addicted, then welcome to the club.

Too late for me to stop thinking about mods...

Very nice, congrats! The hids are a big improvement over the halogen bulbs, you'll love em.

Beautiful car!

I'm sure the HIDs will be nice...I just don't care for those huge metal tongues which start from the bottom up of the headlight and hide the "retro" round light look of the lens... Ford could have designed that a little better.

Cool. The problem with ordering a Mustang is you have way too much time to think about modifications.

How quick did you order yours after they started taking orders?

Very nice!

I think I must point out that there's something wrong with the camera, though... it keeps blanking out the license plates...

I placed my order April 20th, 2007. The wait was worth it now that I have it finally.

Also the HIDs are awsome. Even the the look of the bulbs and their design don't look that bad at all when seen in person.

Still playing around with the car and getting use to it. But I must say the car is just awsome. Sound of the engine roaring was great when I started it up for the first time.
