2008 5-speed GT Grind

Sometimes when i'm shifting into fourth gear I get a nasty grind. It's intermittent but becoming more regular. What is this? Clutch? Syncro? When it happens I am driving normally... nice and easy.

Could be wear of clutch based on miles driven but I would lean more towards the syncros of that gear going bad.

Synchro's and blocker rings, I've had the dealership replace my 2nd and 3rd gear under warranty.
pretty soon you won't be able to get into that gear.
I actually have a spare in perfect shape tranny in my garage because it's cheaper to buy a working tranny than the labor to fix all the internals.
