Hi everyone new to the forum.I just bought our son a 2007 mustang with the v6 and is a stick shift.The passenger door lock does not work it will not go up or down.Both switches work so I assuming it is the aviator that is bad?I can use the switch on the passenger side and it unlocks the drivers door and I can use the switch on the drivers door and it unlocks the drivers door so both both switches should be good.Any help would be appreciated.

 

Yeah, you need to fire that pilot and get a competent one. I mean, an aviator that can't open a door...

Yes, that's most likely the case, as it looks like you've diagnosed all the wiring and switches. Only thing left is the actuator, or a binding up in some way. Might want to try to remove the decorative cover on the door panel and see if you can move the rod up and down and manually lock/unlock the thing. If so, definitely the actuator. Not terrible to do, but a little irritating with the constraints involved with hands and such. Be real careful with the clips on the rods, they'll getcha and/or break off.

Thanks for the reply.Yeah I should have checked what I wrote lol.I think that was spell check.Yeah going to look at it this weekend.I did fix the power seat today with a new switch also.I am sure I will be on here a lot with more questions.
