I'll take that hood scoop for my '05. I have been looking for one that fits the hood without being oversized...I actually like that one.

Definitely NOT the Roush hood scoop.
This one has the leading edge vertical like it SHOULD be. The Roush scoop slants back. I haven't seen the new one in person, but I don't think it's as flattened out in the back as the Roush scoop. Could be wrong on that part though.
I am SERIOUSLY considering getting one of those scoops, but I hate the though of cutting into my hood and I don't trust 3M tape THAT much.

Either way, looks good to have a scoop as an Option. Some like it, some dont, just will be more difficult to get those Racing strips no there unless they are professionally painted. Too bad it is just added to the current hood and not made to let some cooler air in.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised too as by looking at the underside framing of the hood, it seems like they made room for some sort of functional scoop or protruding engine thingy.

Even a nominally functional scoop like the 2005+ GTOs would at least give them some credibility. Sadly, Ford went the cheap, easy 'n cheesy route with the falsies.

Yeah it wouldnt take much to design and produce a functioning Scoop. Maybe to let Cool air in, maybe to let the Hot air out, either way, good news for the car. Seems like the Options are too generic, not thought all the way out, unless they are saving them for a Mach1 or Boss.

Is that Shelby hood metal or glass? I've seen pic's with hood pins and without......

I'd like something different in the hood, but not sure about glass..

Well on retrofitting the heated seats, if you look in the other mods sections I started a topic, but was quickly shot down, as it supposedly has different wiring harnesses, for both seats, the dash etc. I heard it would be very costly. Also I was told the controls for the heated seats is in the computer, just like adjusting anything with the gauges etc. That is supposedly why so many different harnesses are needed. good luck
if you do it , please do a write up on it.

But I was given this link by another member, and they look very promising
