But this guy only bought the mustang body... he spent a hell of a lot of money just to get the gallardo drivetrain.

I'd like to know how they got a 'body in white' from ford to make into a street car...if ford racing looked into this I think the guy would be in trouble, as the body in white program was for approved racing teams only, and 'never to be streetable' or something like that in the contracts...think they were selling for only 3500 bucks or thereabouts- but race specific only...

Think of all the luggage you could fit in the "trunk" up front now that the engine is amidship. That would make a great car for fast jaunts to Costco to stock up on groceries!
