yeah its funny, i emailed the guy a few weeks ago, and told him to email me when he got more. He just emailed me, he wants 200 plus 20 shipping to sell them outright. I emailed him back, and said I hope you enjoy it, cause i wont, when they are supposedly 60 plus bucks from ford, and can be bought in a couple of weeks. Oh well I guess if he can get it, supply and demand, but I am not paying it.

I emailed the seller and he called me back. There was no buy it now price so I asked him how much he was willing to take to end the auction. When he told me the price I laughed and told him Ford was selling them for around $60-80. He told me to get it from Ford. He's having no problems selling them at that price.
You are right, there is one born every minute. Lately, I find that everything on ebay is extremely over priced. Most of the people selling on ebay now have stores. The only way to get a good deal is to buy from an individual. Tough to do on new parts like this.
I wander if Midwest is going to drop their price on their plenum cover now that Ford has come out with one. I can't see why anyone would not choose to buy an original Ford part at one third the price.

Ebay is good as long as you know what the retail price of an item would be.
The cover just goes to show how Ford doesn't do its homework. How much extra money could they have made it itwas an option in the first place, or made it available aftermarket. Now when it is released, it is probably priced too low and they underestimated demand

I orered mine from fordparts.com for $58.00 and that includes fraight, but for 05,06 you do have to swap out four bolts to mount it. They know what you need so after you place your order call them back and for about $4.00 they add them to your order. mitch e

Well you can get it from stangkc05 he is are fords parts guy here. I believe he is getting some every few days, and also has the hard to find studs and nuts for the installation. I believe both these items are on back order, so give him a try. Great guy to deal with. Several threads about this in other mod section already.
