I don't know if maybe this has already been noticed. Since the S197 Mustang and the J56J Mazda 6 are built at the same Assembly Plant, is it me or is the Vista Blue seriously close to the Lapis Blue for the Mazda 6?

Just wanted to get your opinions since I own a Lapis Blue Mazda6.

I can't get my pics to upload...If you go to www.mazdausa.com you can see it there...sorry!

The pics on the site looks darker, but in good lighting, I swear it looks identical...

Does the Vista Blue have a Purple Tint to it in overcast lighting?

The two colors do look similar but Vista in sunlight reacts a little differently(brought up pics in sunlight). They are similar but still different. The slight purple hue on vista only really shows up on a 60 degree angle when the sun is extremely bright (no don't hold me to that). Vista is a bit brighter of a blue when the sun hits it then lapis.

When I see one on the lots I'm going to put my car beside it and check out the closeness of it...I think that will be the only true way to tell...pretty close though huh?

Looks like Mazda's Winning Blue (which I almost bought before I saw the Mustang last year)

Don't be. Even within the Ford nameplate the blues offered on different vehicles are not the same.
