http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showpo...53&postcount=6 here's the one I was talking about. The shelby wheel isn't supposed to be just a IUP wheel with a new badge. Kind of funny that this stuff slips out. I wonder how many of them are caught before they leave

Sucks for this owner. I would IMMEDIATELY get it replaced.

It may look better to some, but it is the WRONG steering wheel for the car.

The standard wheel looks horrible with the rest of things being IUP. Get it replaced with the correct wheel, and hopefully you have a smooth deal with it....

The plastic aluminum spoke covers are pretty chintzy on the IUP. I suppose you can just replace them after they wear out ($11-$14 ea) but it would be a lot better if they simply took the stock wheel and wrapped it with leather.

I had a friend who worked at a Ford dealer and the had a Mercury Mountaineer come in with an Explorer steering wheel.

looks ok...but it wouldn't look/feel right not having the thumb indents on the Shelby wheel...also no red stitching to match the shift boot, etc.
