Okay so long story short, i found a transmission from a 2008 cheap with 50,000k miles to replace the one in my 2006, every gear is there but im having problems like no overdrive, occasional slipping ect.. i was told i needed to have the pcm reflashed. Is that true?

 

no overdrive does sound like an electronic thing that could be affected by the computer program, not sure about the slipping, so yes it might need a reflash / tune

I really don't know, but I hope my reply gets your thread moving and maybe someone who knows will reply!

 

Bringing it in to the dealership in the morning for a flash, hope that fixes the problem.

Might want to check with the dealer cause the interchange would be 2005-06
