Thumbs up

I live in Connecticut.

I see hardly any GT Coupes around,

With Ford supposedly increasing production in 2006, does any one know when supply will start to cath up with demand, in the Northeast?

Im tired of hearing the Ford salesman talking about this car as a "rare collectible".

I want to order a GT coupe for X-plan.. like all my other Fords Ive bought.

Order it from any dealer in the US that accepts X-plans (they are out there) and have it drop shipped to a local dealer for a small fee ($150-300).

Pm ISELLFORD (Ed) for details.

Its just not happeneing in CT  so i found one in CA on line and put a deposit. it will be interesting to see how this plays out. I have not cancelled the Vista order yet until I am sure the Satin GT is OK.

Update: The satin silver $28,575 in CA 91950 + flying out or $1,500 shipping plus tax. I canceled the satin. It would have been $5,718.00 total over my Vista GT ordered. I will be patient .

Conn NYC NJ Pa among many other states....You will not see the car in any of these states on X-Plan,Maybe you can get it for sticker or a tad less....I have checked out about 50 dealers in NJ and Pa are and maybe 3 dealers have one or 2 Gts in stock...
Now if you order a GT you know its going to take at least 6 months to get the car because we are coming up to winter in the northeast. But then again like you said your local dealesr don't have them and even if you order one i think you will not see the car....
If you take a few days off of work and head towards the south on RT95 and I am sure you will be able to get a GT cheaper then Sticker but once you are in Florida most dealers want over sticker....Forget about X-Plan at this stage,,,,I got my Stang GT at Invoice on laborday and as of today the dealer and all the other locals have not seen a GT yet,,,(tons of V6s but noooo Gts}
And ford are not making MANY more GTs as you can see,Its like 2005 all over again...
If you do get a local dealer to give you X-Plan I don't think you will see the car at all ,but in June you will have to change it over to a 2007 GT but will the dealer still give yea X-plan???And if he does you might have to wait sometime in 2007 for the car if you are lucky.....
So take a few days off and shop around and have a nice drive down south.....JohnnyT

I live in a large city in PA, and recently ordered a GT; I don't expect it to take 6 months to arrive. I happened to be at the dealership today, and there were at least 3 GTs on the lot. PM me if interested in dealership details.

i second it for contacting ISELLFORD if looking to order and time is not of the essence. i would have gone with ed, but wanted ours built before the plant closed for the holidays...i contacted ed too late and he was honest on the timing restrictions.

Im fired up!!!!

I'm in Florida on business,

I went to the local dealership and, of course, he has only 6 cyls on the lot.

I asked if he could order me a GT Premium Coupe and have it drop shipped in Connecticut. and could I get it for X-Plan.

He brought me to the ordering mgr, we punched it in, and said 8-12 weeks at the X-plan price

I had to leave with co-workers for a dinner engagement. Im still down here. Leaving tomorrow

Im on the brink!!!! what should I do????

Gwinnett Place Ford

Get the phone# off of Ford website.....
I am sure if you call them you can get any GT at close to INVOICE...
I called them and they will take X-Plan with any of the 30 GTs on their lot.....
They have so many and most other dealers have not seen any.
So call them and get a GT at Invoice and have it shipped to yea at around $600 and still save around $2000...JohnnyT
